* Johnny Mack, lead guitar, vocals. Johnny has played Country, Outlaw and Rockabilly music on both coasts and deep in the heart of Texas. Country acts include Sacramento's The Fortunate Few; and Atlanta's Blue Jays and Ghost Rider Car Club. Outlaw acts include Sacramento's The Last Cold Beer; and Atlanta's Tore Up and Sonoramic Commando. Rockabilly bands included Sacramento's KB and The Slingtones, Atlanta's Caroline and The Ramblers, and Los Angeles' The Twistin' Tornados. Johnny has opened for top international acts including Big Sandy, Wanda Jackson, Deke Dickerson, Webb Wilder and BR5-49.
Always ready for fun and adventure, Johnny is an avid outdoorsman. When not onstage extolling the virtue of old school country music you can find him on any motocross track, or working on motorcycles. He has been based out of Baltimore, Austin and Atlanta, and now calls Davis home. Johnny is a founding member of The Blue Lights.
* Steve Luster, electric jug bass. Steve earned the coveted Best Bass Player Award from the Country Music Association. Originally based in San Diego, he toured and recorded with well-known West Coast bands Powder River Band and Vultee. He has also played with Clay Blaker & The Texas Honky-Tonk Band and Jackson Browne. He has opened for Ramblin' Jack Elliot, Hoyt Axton, Waylon Jennings Chuck Mead & BR5-49, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGee, and Lightnin' Hopkins.
Trained as a classical musician, but always a Country artist, Steve prefers the raw, simple music from the 40s through the 70s. Citing Bach and Banda music as the two main influences for his hard-driving, honky-tonk bass style, Steve calls Rescue, California home, and is a founding member of The Blue Lights.
* Brandon Riggenti drums, vocals. Brandon has been playing drums since 1982. Classically trained in big band swing, Brandon has also played in rock, punk, reggae, jazz combo and rockabilly bands around the Bay Area and Sacramento since 1993, including Big Rig, Joshua Allen, Learned Hand, The Street Vendors,KB & The Slingtones, and The Sac Soul Rebels. He toured China in 1992 and played the Viva Las Vegas rockabilly festival in 2015.
His Musical influences include Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, The Police, Led Zeppelin, Primus, James Brown, Count Basie, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Charles Mingus, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Toots and the Maytals, The Skatalites, Johnny Cash, Faron Young, Patsy Cline, Buck Owens, and Merle Haggard. His passion is getting the audience out of their seats and on the dance floor with a simplified, energetic swing and deep pocket. Brandon lives in Roseville, California and is a founding member of The Blue Lights.
